Internet Explorer. Error: Object Expected?

So when im on a page with a .pdf or a music file such as on vgmusic.com, I get an error.

Lower left corner a yellow '!' sign saying Object Expected all the time. Its not the sites, its my settings. I dont want to get Firefox or anything else. Ive asked other people but they are no help at all! I have IE v7 by the way. I tried to contact Microsoft online but that was harder than I thought....!!!

Please help me asap its so annoying I have a headache! :(

you might want to check the settings under Tools then Internet Options and see if anything is out of the ordinary. then if all else fails, you actually might want to consider downloading Safari from apple.com. i like it better than Firefox or Internet Explorer...
