Hello

Softwares could be causing the issue. If you're running optimization software like Norton Systemworks, IOLO System Mechanic, Registry Cleaner and the like, turn them off temporarily. Also if your antivirus engine is more than a 6 to 9 months old temporarily disable and restart the system. If the problem resolves enable the softwares one after the other to determine the conflict.

Fixing your system could be very simple, starting with an easy maintenance checklist:

___1. On Internet Explorer (IE) menu click 'Tools', click 'Internet Options', click 'General' tab, at 'Browsing history' click 'delete' temporary files, click 'OK' to exit. Repeat periodically. With email or internet usage weekly or monthly temporary file deletion is recommended.

___2. Increase the browser disk space allotment. On the menu again click 'Tools', click 'Internet Options', click 'General' tab, scroll to browsing history, set 'Disk space usage' at 250MB or 500MB, click 'OK' to finish.

___3. If you're using XP some systems did not ship with Java. Download and install the latest version at http://www.java.com/

___4. Many advertisements are Flash Player oriented and you may need to install the newest version http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer

Best wishes,

Try restoring to an even earlier date. The problem is with the internet browser.

If it comes to the worst thing, delete the browser and install a new one (download new one on another computer and burn to a CD etc).

Also, before deleting old version, g to internet options and delete all the cookies, history, and temporary internet files.
Adr1k said most of it perfect, but also make sure all of the spyware and anti-virus programs are up to date, they aren't doing anything if they haven't been updated.
