Internet Explorer...keep getting error?

messages! Everytime you go to close it (like a website or whatever) , you get an error (internet explorer has encountered an error %26amp; needs to close %26amp; asks if i want to report the problem)

Also with pop-ups, but ones that you actually want, sometimes if you click on something and another box tries to open it counts that as a pop up. and emails when you click to open an email, its the same thing, it wont open unless you hold down the control button. If you dont hold the button down you get an error message, when the email actually closes, it closes all windows that are related to whatever that "pop up" was about.

my dad just updated internet explorer, could this be causing it? how in the world do i stop it? it is very annoying!

Use Windows Update to get the lastest fixes. But pick CUSTOM and avoid getting Internet Explorer 7. (many people have trouble with it).

You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search %26amp; Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.

These are cleanup tools. Ad-aware cleans files, and SpyBot cleans the registry.

Don't use IE; that's why there's Firefox.
Pop-up Blocker is on by default. You should only need to turn it on if someone has turned it off.

On the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker.

Click Turn on Pop-up Blocker.

Also right click my computer, properties, advanced, error reporting, disable
Switch to Mozilla Firefox, there is nothing which connects you to web like this one.
