Having this issue with the new internet explorer and for some reason it cannot display webpage for the Yahoo Mail only.

i've been having the same problem for more than ten days and nothing seems to have changed in order to solve the problem.
If you really need to have a look at something important try the wap frontend at http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/raw?dp=mail%26amp;fdr=... which is intended for phones (not for humans...).
In ten days, i've been able to check that it seems some kind of incompatibility between the system software and the yahoo servers, so if you can check your mail from another computer it may work (it works for me).
