Right after boot up and keeps in a loop. Says IE explore has an error and needs to close down and needs to send message (send yes or no). Does not matter what you do at this point. It then loops back around and does it again. Even if you do not try to restart IE explorer.
Ran AVG and found three trojan horses which we healed and discarded, no other badness found but it still is doing it. Are we screwed? Hate to reformat the drive. This is my daughter's and she is on a wifi connect to our router. Any suggestions. I am direct connect to the router and it seems to work fine. I am also using Firefox. She had been using IE.
Any help would be most appreciated.

that should take care of part of your problem
There's still probably a trojan in your system. Do a more thorough scan using an updated version of avg or download mozilla firefox and use that as your primary web browser. It has less problems than internet explorer.
