Why does my internet explorer keep closing?

i am using internet explorer 7. this has never happened before but lately as i am going around the internet, the internet explorer error report to microsoft comes up and then my window shuts down and i have to click on the e again to get back on the internet. why? thanks in advance

maybe you got virus or spyware or something that is not good in your IE setting. Maybe you should use antivirus and spyware software. If the problem persist, see your doctor. eeerrr, i mean ask someone you know to get help with your computer. And one more thing, reinstalling your IE might solve the problem.
When you click the error report, and send it, a link should come up,explaining the problem, just click the link, and sometimes they have a fix for it..good luck..
hi i had the same problem a couple of times, the first time it was because i had a virus, have you checked for them lately, my anti virus did not pick it up as it was not one of the common ones, in the end i had to uninstall windows and then reinstall it if you have the recovery disc for your computer it may be a good idea to run this, on the kids PC it was doing this and i thought it must be the same as what was wrong with my laptop but it was because it was running at the max memory, have u checked to see if you have any memory left as windows takes up quite a bit and if you don't have a big memory on your computer this may be the problem, i payed a man to come out and tell me this so i would check these things before getting anyone out to look at it, if you have your line through b.t. if you get on the help desk they will help you run a load of tests to try to find the problem i find these quite help full now i have changed, hope this has been some help to you, all the best Eleanor
Sounds like you have spyware.

Download spybot search and destroy and that should get rid of some of them

Then download firefox and you will be much safer online as it doesn't have as many problems as Internet explorer
I had the same problem. In the source box go there and at bottom left of the page there is a free Firefox download. Use this browser and the problem will go away. You might even find it is a better browser anyway.
